Name?
-Krystal Bleiler: Bartendress Extraordinaire  ( I'm the one in the green hat )

Where do you work?-I work at J. Lotti's Pub and Grill House. 225 South St. Waukesha WI. Find us on-line at jlottis.com. Best Burgers. Period.

How long have you been bartending there?
-I've been a proud J. Lotti Hottie since day one! We opened the doors late September 2010.

What do you like about it?
-I love bartending. It's an incredibly social job where I get to have fun and dance around with people. What's better than that?!? I also love my co-workers! Sweetest group ever and we have an awesome dynamic together!

What is your signature Cocktail?

-Well, I have a few. There is The Krystal (of course), The Green Jolly Rancher, but my new one is Liquid Candy-

1 1/2 oz Chambord
1 oz Premium Orange Vodka
1/2 oz Strawberry Syrup
Fill remainder with Seltzer and garnish with an orange slice.

-I make a mean Bloody too!

Have you ever had to cut someone off?
-Yes of course. I try to do it in a nice nonchalant way though, drunks are easily distracted. You just change the subject. Tell them a joke or story.

Have you ever had a customer pass out in your bar?
-Ha! Yeah sometimes people get a little sleepy! I would never draw on people though! That's super mean!

Have you ever had a customer get a little sick?
-You know what? I don't think so! Lord knows I've seen it at the bar! But as far as my doing? I plead the fifth.

Where do you go to have a drink when your not working? Why there?-I like dive-y low key places. I have a good time where ever I go though, it's all about the company you keep. I don't get out there a lot but I love Foundation in Riverwest. It's a Tiki bar with a seventies island feel and blowfish lanterns. It's a super cute atmoshpere.

Pet Peeve?
-People that don't push their chairs in. Uh, and when people put napkins in glasses! Please don't do that!

Has a customer ever asked you out?
-Yes.

Would you date a customer?
-There's going to be the possiblity for feelings and tentions and circumstances anywhere. At a bar these are all heightened though and the dark lighting doesn't help any! I fall in love everyday.

Whats the worst part about bartending?
-The wacko hours I keep. I feel like a vampire, but not the new age type that go out in daylight and just wear sunglasses and sparkle. I love to sleep during the day and stay up all night.

What do you think of the smoking ban?
-I think that it should be up to the owner of the bar. Certain bars depend on a crowd that does smoke. I do think a larger amount of people now feel comfortable with going out to a bar whereas it was more taboo for them before because of cigarettes.

How do you feel about people talking about politics when drinking at your bar?
-I don't care what people talk about as long as they're not crazy loud about it! Bars are perfect spots to go to talk about things things you need to.

Craziest night you have seen while on duty?
-I'm gonna plead the fifth again!

Ever ended up on craigslist “missed connections”?-I'm sure. Haha.

Whats the best thing about working at J. Lotti's?
-The diverse group of people that come in. We don't have a type that comes in here. I've met tons of really great people being here.

Downtown Waukesha tends to scare people who aren't from that area. Why do you think that is?
-It's so easy to get lost. Street names change without notice and some streets aren't even connected yet they are the same. I love Waukesha. It's a quaint town. The downtown area has a euro feel to it and there are tons of cute little spots to check out.

Anything else?-J. Lotti's is now open for lunch everyday at 11am! Come in and try a yummy wrap! We have expanded our salad list too!
